PM College to Host Project Management Webcast Series
HAVERTOWN, PA (October 4, 2007) – PM College, the training and professional development division of project management consultancy PM Solutions, announces that it is now offering a series of public webcasts designed for all business professionals actively involved in improving their organizations’ project management practices. The hour-long webcasts will enable practitioners to learn about the latest trends and approaches being used by successful organizations, and earn professional development units (PDUs) necessary for maintaining their Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification, without disrupting their busy schedules.
The first webcast in the series, The State of the Project Management Office: Priorities for Advancing PMO Maturity, will take place Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at 1:00 pm ET. Presented by PM Solutions CEO J. Kent Crawford, PMP, PMI Fellow, the webcast will explore how the Strategic Project Office provides project management expertise throughout the organization. Participants will learn how to overcome the political foes of an active project office and how to help the organization evolve toward a "project culture." Most importantly, they will exchange practical ideas on how to manage a Strategic Project Office in the context of real-world organizational dynamics.
