We’ve been aware for years that Artificial Intelligence would make inroads on the project management discipline, and for the most part, that is actually welcome news. AI is not coming, it is here. What can project managers do to future-proof their skillset and meet the demands of today’s marketplace? Our subject matter experts helped compile a questionnaire of the kinds of skills that are missing or inadequate even for experienced, credentialed project leaders. We grouped the skills we surveyed about into four distinct skillsets:
- Leadership (or “Power”) skills
- Organizational agility skills
- Business acumen skills
- Ways of working skills
In this on-demand webinar, you’ll learn which of these skills are deemed most important to organizations, whether project managers have these skills, and to what extent. These findings sketch a profile of individuals in the highest-performing organizations in the study. And they identify the size of the skill gap for all organizations — that is, the difference between the skills participants deem most important and the degree to which their project managers actually possess those important skills.
